Barons Players Named GICAA All State and All Region

In the 2018 GICAA season, Junior Brandon Nugue and 8th Grader Andrew Shadburn were both named All Region and All State.

Andrew led the JV team in batting average and OPS and was second in OBP. He also had the fewest amount of errors for the season. Andrew was the only 8th grader to win GICAA All Region and All State.

Brandon was integral to the pitching staff. In the two state playoff games, he had 1.07 ERA with 20 strikeouts and four home runs.

This is the first year with the Barons for both Shadburn and Nugue. The Barons were runners up in the GICAA region playoffs.
