Barons to State Playoff Finals

The Barons emerged victorious in the GICAA Division II state playoff semi-finals against New Creation Christian Academy. The Barons lost game one of the double header on Friday night 1-3.  Game two was won with a score of 0-15. After the split, the teams met again on Saturday, May 4th to determine who would advance.

The Barons came back from being down 4 runs to tie the game 5-5 in the 5th inning. After a rain delay, play resumed and the Barons finished strong with a final score of 13-8.

This weekend, May 10th and 11th, the Barons will play the winner of The Kings Academy/ Lanier Christian Academy series for the title of State Champions.
