Coach Paul Dreslinski, Varsity Head Coach

Coach Paul Dreslinski came to the Barons after spending several years as the head coach of several summer travel teams, as an assistant head coach at Lawrence Tech University, and several Michigan high schools compiling an impressive winning record coaching at various levels.

Dreslinski has led his previous summer club over the past four years to a 171 - 62 record.  He has instructed from youth ages through to college at Lawrence Tech University, with an emphasis on skill development and technique enhancement.

Coach Dreslinski began his high school career at Novi Catholic Central High School as the Assistant Head Coach of the JV Baseball program, where the team compiled a 32-2 in his first season. The next year, Dreslinski moved to Fowlerville High School to become the Assistant Head Varsity Baseball coach where the team compiled a 29-5 record.  Dreslinski subsequently returned to Novi Catholic Central where he was named the Assistant Head Coach of the Varsity Baseball program under Head Coach Bill Lis. That season the team advanced to the MHSAA regional playoffs and in 2011 and 2013 the club advanced to the Catholic League Championship game at Comerica Park. Coach Dreslinski then started coaching the Greater Gwinnett Barons as an assistant coach and moved to the head coach position in 2017.  

Dreslinski was a 4-year high school starter at Redford Bishop Borgess High School and received a scholarship to attend Northwood University.  While at Northwood, Dreslinski compiled several hitting related records in a two-year span which still exist today. He then transferred to Eastern Michigan University and played under Head Coach Roger Coryell, first as a walk-on and eventually, he earned an athletic scholarship.

Dreslinski holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Eastern Michigan University and is currently working as a Senior Software Technical Architect for QAD.  Dreslinski and his wife, Mia, have two sons, Frank and Joe and two daughters, Anna and Mary.

Coach Anthony Fedele, JV Head Coach

Coach Anthony Fedele has been coaching high school and travel baseball teams for the past 20 years. Four of those years were spent as Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Fellowship Christian High School in Roswell, GA where the program was the region runner-up and participated in the GICAA state playoffs in 2003. He also held the Assistant Coach position at North Cobb Christian High School when the team won the GICAA State title in 2006.

Coach Fedele spent seven years as a Level 1 instructor for Doyle Baseball where he traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada performing instruction for players and coaches at every level.

Coach Fedele also co-founded the STaF Athletics Baseball program which is focused on developing players and assisting them in playing at the next level. To date, 34 high school players from the STaF program have gone on to play college and/ or professional baseball.

Coach Fedele played his college baseball at State University of New York where he also ran track on the Golden Eagles winter track team.
