2021 Senior Spotlight- JB Fleitz

JB has played with the Barons for 5 years. His favorite memory is winning the All- American Award at one of the Homeschool World Series tournament. In 2018 he was named a GICAA All- Region player. He also played basketball and football with the Georgia Force where he received the defensive player of the year award for basketball. JB said, “Playing sports was a highlight of my high school career. In my years of baseball, basketball, and football I have made very meaningful relationships and memories I will cherish forever.”

Comments about JB include

  • JB was one of those kids that would run through a brick wall if you asked him to.  He worked hard to perfect his swing and his progressions showed that through the years.
  • His devotion to God, his family and baseball has made his path straight.

JB’s future plans include growing the digital marketing agency he founded and to live as an entrepreneur. He also plans on attending the University of Georgia this fall to pursue a marketing degree.

‭To younger players, he says, “Time flies by. Make the most of the time you have. Swing the bat, take that extra base, make that diving catch. And don’t take yourself too seriously. Baseball is a game, have some fun with it.”

His favorite verse is John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
