Dylan Dalton, JV Head Coach

Dylan began playing baseball at 5 years old along with other sports. Growing up, athletics was an important part of his life. He used athletics to focus his talents and grow to a fierce competitor in all aspects of life. With strong success in an extremely strong and competitive 6A region Dylan won the MVP for his 6A high school team, the Habersham Central Raiders. He enjoyed successful summers as a travel pitcher around upstate South Carolina. He was recruited by several colleges such as the Citadels and USC Lancaster.

For his studies and baseball, Dylan chose the 4-time NCAA champions, the Toccoa Falls Screaming Eagles. However, an elbow injury ended his collegiate baseball career after only one season. He then transferred to the University of North Georgia where earned a degree in Kinesiology.

Coach Dalton has dedicated himself to the art of hitting and pitching, studying many techniques. Knowing that all players are different in their talents, he strives to find the right combination for each player to succeed. While technique and mechanics are immensely important, Coach Dalton believes physical fitness is equally important- he not only teaches and mentors these beliefs, he lives them himself.
