Senior Spotlight- Elijah Pugh

Elijah joined the Barons this season but fit right in and made some good memories! His speed and athleticism was a great addition to the squad.

His favorite times this year were working out with Spence and Josh. He is guided by Isaiah 41:10 which says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Elijah’s future plans for the short term are to attend college with hopes of continuing to play baseball. His lifetime outlook is to continue to cultivate a relationship with his God.

His teammates say about him:

Always has a smile on his face, and whenever he throws a ball over to first I usually don’t have to move my glove. And he is such a great athlete and a great presence in the dugout.

To younger players he offers: Never lose confidence in yourself. God believes you are worth it.
