Senior Spotlight- Nick Peffer

Let us introduce our 2022 grads! First up is Nick Peffer.

Nick has played with the Barons for 3 years. His favorite memory is winning the 2021 State Championship, which he calls “a great memory with a great team.”

His favorite scripture is Psalm 96: 1-3: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Nicks teammates say about him:

Peffer is the best teammate you could ask for he’s a great player and we will all miss playing with him. He’s a great teammate, friend, and person.

An overall great guy and teammate. He might not be the biggest guy on the field but he’ll make all the important plays and is always ready to hit when up to bat.

Nick is a fun-loving guy with a big heart, a fierce work ethic, relentless desire to improve, a passion for baseball, and a love for the Lord that is foundational to all of his pursuits.

In the future, Nick plans to study marketing in college maybe playing baseball as well. To younger players he shares this advice: Thank God for the opportunity to play this great game and enjoy it while you can, but also give all glory to God and realize that your value is not only your stats on field but rather your relationship with the Lord.
