Senior Spotlight- Josh Ryan

Josh played with the Barons for 5 years. His favorite memory was on Saturday, February 26th 2022 when all the seniors from the 2021 season came back for the ring ceremony to celebrate last years title, followed by an amazing game against the Huntsville Falcons.

His favorite verse is Romans 5:8 – Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

• He’s my A1 day one. He always plays hard and gives 100%. Only took me five years to teach him how to hit.
• Another leader on the team with a cannon of an arm. He helped me when I was new to playing first base. Emmanuel has a great player coming their way.
• He’s just a great guy. All around heck of a baseball player. He can hit, pitch, and field with the best of the best.

Josh’s future plans are to play baseball at Emmanuel College while pursuing a Bachelors in Sports Management and a minors in Christian Ministries and Business Management.

To younger players he says: Nobody is ever going to congratulate you or give you an award for the work you put in by yourself in the offseason, but it is more important than the work you put in during the season.
