2021 Senior Spotlight- Brantston Lacy
Brantson played with the Barons for 4 years. His favorite memory is the state championship game in 2019. Even though the Barons lost, the fact that a bunch of sophomores placed second in a varsity playoff was something to remember fondly.
Brantson will be attending Shorter University this fall and then he plans to attend seminary, hopefully starting a career as a political/theological writer and journalist.
Comments about Brantston include:
- Brantston is the hardest working person I know. He will go the extra mile even when just asked to go an inch.
- His love for his teammates and his God has made him into a natural born leader.
- I look forward to the future for Brantston, as I will probably be working for him some day!
His advice to the younger guys is “Never give up. No matter what happens, no matter how long you sit on the bench, keep your head down and keep working hard. Do whatever you can to get playing time and it will happen. May not be immediate, but it will happen.” Brantston’s favorite scripture is Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Congratulations, Brantston!
