2021 Senior Spotlight- Owin Gunyon

Owin played with the Barons for 5 years. His favorite memory is the 2019 State Championship run. Owin is an Honor Student and was selected as a GAPPS Basketball All Star player this year. He plans to attend Columbia International University in the fall where he will play baseball for the CIU Rams. 

Comments about Owin include 

  • He is always there to pick a teammate up and and pick up the slack where needed
  • We are so proud of his choices, his work ethic, his leadership, his heart, his commitment to serve, and most of all his walk with God

His advice to younger athletes is: Always have fun and don’t take life too seriously. Owin’s favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future.”
