Senior Spotlight- Cameron Kilcoyne
Cameron played with the Barons for two seasons. His favorite memories are definitely the electric atmosphere with his teammates and winning the 2021 GAPPS State Championship. Also the help provided by Coach Bryan and Coach Keith to help him overcome two arm surgeries and achieve his goal of earning a college baseball scholarship.
In high school, Cameron was on the CTAE Advisory Board for Finance with Georgia Cyber Academy, and has become an accomplished guitar player and drummer.
His favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10, which reads: “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Cameron plans to attend Brevard College to play baseball and pursue a Business Degree.
His advice to younger players is to always work hard under any circumstances- no matter what!
Cameron’s teammates say that he’s the one who took charge on the walk-up songs. He’s one of the team motivators and leaders. And that he is definitely the heart and soul of our team, is always encouraging, and has a way of hyping up the team like no one else.
